Alerting in Prometheus is split across the rules in Prometheus itself, and the routing and notification in the Alertmanager.

This course will take you from design and philosophy of alerting, to how to write alerting rules and finally how to configure and use the Alertmanager.

Part of this course is targeted at Prometheus 2.0, but most content will also apply to older versions.
